Mediamax – 13/07/18. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the representatives of Armenian community in Belgium during his working visit to Brussels. During the meeting, Pashinyan noted that "it is time for us to shoulder the responsibility for consolidating Armenia’s victories and establishing prosperity and happiness in our homeland”.

During his meeting today in Brussels with Federica Mogherini, Vice-President of the European Commission / EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the new Armenian government is pursuing a policy of upward democratic development in a bid to ensure the rule of law, protect human rights and build a competitive and business-friendly environment.

Armenian prime minister, Nikol Pashinyan, has called on NATO to send a message to neighbouring Azerbaijan that the international community will not accept any attempt to resolve the conflict in disputed Nagorno Karabakh by force. In an interview with Euronews, Pashinyan, who was swept to power after popular movement against his country's longstanding leader Serzh Sargsyan earlier this year, said he intends to maintain close ties with Moscow.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan delivered a speech at the NATO summit, PM's adviser Arsen Kharatyan wrote on his Facebook page.

"Before and after the speech, Nikol Pashinyan had meetings with Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Lithuania's President Dalia Grybauskaite."

A government delegation headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the upcoming NATO summit on July 11-12. Also included in the Armenian delegation are Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan, Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.

When in Brussels, Mnatsakanyan is also set to meet his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov.
